School Lunch Program Manager

The primary role of the School Lunch Program Manager will be to
* Assist in food preparation, presentation, service, and cleanup
* Plan/direct the preparation of and heat/serve all food in the cafeteria
* Review daily menus; secure ingredients and supplies for menu offerings
* Ensure accurate receipe execution; portion control, temperature, appearance (possible scratch cooking)
* Incorporate time-saving production techniques and effective merchandising
* Instruct/teach new employees assigned tasks; ensure compliance with applicable guidelines
* Prepare and maintain inventory/records as required by local and state authorities
* Follow/implement sanitation and safety standards for food handling/preparation procedures

Qualifications

REQUIRED
* ServSafe Certified or willingness to attain
* Prior food service/kitchen and supervisory experience
* Adherence to Code of Ethical Conduct
* Satisfactory background check
* Completion of Safe Environment training prior to employment
PREFERRED BUT NOT REQUIRED
* Previous school lunch program experience
* Practicing Catholic
* Average working knowledge of technology
* Knowledge of State reporting requirements
