Bereavement Ministry

A joint service of the Marriage & Family Life office and the Catholic Cemeteries, Bereavement Ministry provides resources for collaborative parish ministry, community resources, and services. It also organizes, publicizes, implements, and evaluates services and programs associated with widowed and grieving. Staff develops and provides bereavement resources for individuals and parishes, including audio-visual materials and information on support groups. Retreats for widowed persons and programs for bereaved parents are organized and implemented through this Office. Training workshops are available to people in parishes who are interested in Bereavement Ministry.
